Amusingly, the commenters on the site that you link to seem to think that there’s something suspicious going on with that. My suspicion is that they’re being sensible. Google’s stock is high and has been for a while. It’s unlikely to stay that high. As such, it’s the time to sell and diversify their portfolio.
That way, if and when Google tanks, they’ve got holdings in companies that won’t instantly tank at the same time.
Of course, that doesn’t prove that they know something we don’t. Still, I’m inclined to imagine that they’re being smart as opposed to criminal.
