To put it mildly, this continues to baffle me. How the hypocrisy of *using nuclear weapons* in order to prevent another country from *obtaining nuclear weapons* because they’re so crazy, they might want to *use nuclear weapons* goes unnoticed troubles me to no end (yeah…great sentence construction there, eh?).
So I mentioned this casually to a couple of students during a lab, and one responded with, “Well, these types of nukes don’t really spread much radiation.”
We are a soulless nation.
