I like Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends. It has a main character who is a kinda wacky, over the top, self-centered, yet lovable nonhuman, who’s friends with a fairly ordinary human boy (the other main character), and is always getting the boy in trouble.
My Gym Partner Is A Monkey is not too bad. It has a main character who is a kinda wacky, over the top, self-centered, yet lovable nonhuman, who’s friends with a fairly ordinary human boy (the other main character), and is always getting the boy in trouble.
Squirrel Boy has this derivative quality to it that I can’t quite put my finger on. Could it be that it has a main character who is a wacky, over the top, self-centered, yet lovable nonhuman, who’s friends with a fairly ordinary human boy (the other main character), and is always getting the boy in trouble?
Nahhh. It’s probably that its particular brand of hip retro animation went out of style with Duckman and Rocko’s Modern Life.
While I was tracking down the link to Duckman, Wikipedia told me that the same guy who did Duckman did Squirrel Boy. Huh. Point remains, I liked Squirrel Boy better the first two times, when I didn’t hate the animation style so much and it was called Foster’s and Gym Partner.
