Yes, they’re all spam vehicles!

As a method of online communication becomes popular, the probability that it becomes a vehicle for spam approaches 1.

It hit me this week when my myspace account, which I’d reluctantly acquired and then actually started to enjoy, started spewing friends requests from young women I’ve never heard of at me (remarkably, at least two or three of these women, with different names and accounts, have posted exactly the same picture on their accounts) and group requests from things like “webcam enthusiasts.”

One more means of communication, one more source of spam.

Chris Belfiore discovered an apology painted on the sidewalk in front of his house two days after the arson of his roommate’s car.He noticed the message, “Wrong house sorry,” written in wet blue paint after seeing his neighbor’s car on fire early Thursday morning.

I don’t know why, but I find this completely hilarious.
