I suggested in one of my classes that I thought we should set the clocks back in both the fall and the spring. I was only half joking. I’d be willing to switch all of my lights to energy-saving LEDs and work all “day” in pitch black if it meant that I wouldn’t have to give up that precious hour of sleep every spring.
