Mine had the shunt surgery for the hydrocephaly when I was five and got a blood clot in his brain during the operation. The hydrocephaly was fixed, but he was greatly diminished by the brain damage from the blood clot, to the mental age of maybe 12 or 13. And he had epilepsy-like seizures.</description>
