It work good in my Gateway 7324GZ, in this I select Intel 8280

This worked for a Gateway 4535 as well (for this model the audio device to select is Intel 82801db-ich4 (alsa mixer) instead of via 8237)

Thanks! I also had to uncheck the Sense Audio Jack, to get it working on my m220 gateway.
