I was thinking about New Orleans as I was driving to a meeting today. One of my thoughts, oddly enough, was that they could probably use civil engineers from the Netherlands just now. They've got experience that might be useful.

I've been thinking for years that New Orleans would go away soon. With all the talk of global warming, and the oceans rising within 20 years, New Orleans would be as deep under water as The Netherlands, and with the history of hurricanes, it wouldn't take much to sink it altogether.
